AMS preparing for exhibitions in 2017
[15/02/17] Analox Military Systems (AMS) has announced the three major exhibitions they are attending in 2017, which will see them travel nearly 7,000 miles and promote their range of gas and atmosphere monitoring solutions across the world.
The first exhibition of the year will take place in Nova Scotia, Canada on 17 May. The NATO Underwater Working Group (UDWG) aims to standardise all aspects of military underwater diving including diving techniques, clearance diving operations, ship’s diver operations, underwater construction operations and medical guidance for diving operations.
The next stop on the map is Bremen in Germany for Underwater Defence Technology (UDT) which brings together professionals to focus on technologies and developments in diving and submarine environments. This event takes place between 30 May and 1 June. Last year the AMS team also attended the event which took place in Oslo, Norway.
The latest visit to be confirmed will see the team attend NATO Submarine Escape and Rescue Working Group (SMERWG) which takes place in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, on 7 June. This event encourages the development and implementation of military standardisation within the submarine escape, rescue and abandonment community. Last year’s event was the 10th anniversary of the event and took place in Portsmouth, UK.
Vicky Pigg, Sales and Marketing Director of Analox Military Systems said: “Exhibitions and conferences provide us with great opportunities to meet new people and show how our off-the-shelf and bespoke gas detection solutions can improve safety. They also give us a key meeting point to collaborate with industry bodies and research groups, but also catch up with our current customers, which is something we always look forward to
“We have attended UDWG, UDT and SMERWG in the past and received very positive feedback from the sales team regarding the discussions had, and knowledge gained at all three events last year. So we’re attending again with the aim to build on these initial contacts. We feel working with UDWG and SMERWG are integral for us to provide quality solutions for our customers.
